SEVERAL DIFFERENT WAYS TO SWING A CAMEL
Maybe the idea of a safari in a vehicle doesn’t appeal to your adventurous soul? Maybe you’d like something a bit more off the beaten path, a bit bonkers?
Something you can regale dinner party guests with for years to come.. that time you rode a camel through Laikipia, or that time you flew in a Cessna up the skeleton coast or that time you tracked wild dog on foot in Mana Pools. It certainly beats chat about stock market trends or rising price of property in Notting Hill.
We have an array of different ways to see Africa and there are some spectacular options that will give you an adrenalin rush, should you wish, or a more gentle way to get closer to the wilderness and see that untouched side of Africa.
The four legged way…
Think camel safaris through Northern Kenya with noble Samburu guides, allowing you to access areas that vehicles can’t get to, or wonderful horse safaris, splashing through the vast Okavango delta cantering after herds of Giraffe or even riding an Elephant at the famous Abu’s camp in Botswana.
The easy way…
For those of you who prefer more mechanical means of transport we can arrange hot air balloon safaris over the Masai Mara, helicopter flips over the Victoria Falls or quad biking on the vast and empty Makgadikgadi salt pans in Botswana.
The adventurous way….
There are canoe safaris on the Selinda channel, mountain bike safaris in South Luangwa, walking safaris in the Ruaha and a whole load of other quirky ways to experience the bush.
